Located at the edge of Tamworth, in the delightful village of Drayton Basset, Manor Primary is a ‘Good’ small school (Ofsted February 2015).
We are partners in the Tame Valley Cooperative Learning Trust (TVCLT) with 5 other local schools – Wilnecote Junior, Heathfields Infants, Stoneydelph Primary, Longwood Primary and Thomas Barnes Primary. We are committed to working closely as a trust to develop the best possible learning for all of the children in all of our schools.
With 4 classrooms, plus a Nursery class, our school is organised into mixed-age classes – Robins are our Nursery and Reception class; Swans our Year 1 and 2; Owls our Year 3 and 4 and Penguins our Year 5 and 6. Our reception year is typically oversubscribed with applications. Test results are typically above National averages and progress is generally high.
We enjoy very supportive Governors, staff and parents, and this contributes to our happy, safe and secure environment where every child is valued as an individual, is recognised for their unique talents and is accepted for who they are. Our learners are happy, motivated, capable, enthusiastic, well-behaved children and are willing and eager to learn.
Our Key Stage 2 results for 2017 were above national averages in most areas. Please click on the link to view a summary of the latest data available on Ofsted's Data Dashboard.
